Tampa Housing Authority's Back to School Bash

TAMPA, Fla. - July 31, 2023 - The Tampa Housing Authority is proud to announce its Back to School Bash. Events are scheduled throughout the week to give out donations of school supplies to resident children.  The goal is to help set students up to academic success this year. Hundreds of children and youth, elementary to high-school students, from families in assisted housing will participate in fun activities and receive their bookbag and supplies thanks to the generous donations of several community partners.

ACTIVITIES/VISUALS: Bag pack distribution, balloon entertainment, basketball, book giveaway, caricature artist, community vendors, connect four, cornhole, DJ, dunk tanks, face painting, family portraits, hair styling, potato sack race, and free lunch.
