Our Portfolio - Our Vision

The Tampa Housing Authority has meticulously worked to transform the perception of affordable housing locally, state-wide, and nationally.  With an impressive rental housing portfolio consisting of 5,157 units and over 30,000 sq. ft. of retail space, families and the surrounding communities have safe and decent places to call home.  This portfolio, located throughout Hillsborough County, contains 36 rental apartment communities, including four (4) senior apartment communities and one (1) assisted living facility.  New developments are coming online to serve even more people throughout the community.

The Tampa Housing Authority has undertaken the most comprehensive plan in the City's history to improve the physical condition of its units and to expand the number of affordable housing units.  Our sustainably developed and transit-oriented master planned communities blend multifamily rental, the diverse retail, hotel, medical facilities, and gardens into energetic neighborhoods for all.
