Become a THA Vendor

We are excited that you want to register as a vendor with the Tampa Housing Authority (THA). Effective July 1, 2026, all new vendor registrations, profile updates, and compliance management will be processed exclusively through VendorCafe'. VendorCafe' provides a secure, centralized online vendor management portal to better serve you.

Why VendorCafe?

This self-service portal is designed to streamline our business relationship and offers several direct benefits for you:

  •  Easily update your business information and contact details in one secure, centralized location
  •  Direct integration with our systems means quicker turnaround times for profile updates, approvals, and payment processing
  •  Upload and monitor your Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Sunbiz Certificate of Status, and professional licenses to ensure uninterrupted partnership
  •  Stay current on your vendor status, active approvals, and compliance expirations through a single, easy-to-use dashboard

What You Need to Do:

Part One: Register your business:

1. Register with Florida Department of State's Division of Corporations;

2. Obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the Internal Revenue Service;

3. Register for State Taxes (The DR-1 Form);

4. Register for Reemployment Tax, if applicable;

5. Apply for Professional Licenses, if applicable;

6. Obtain Certificate of Insurance (COI).

 

Part Two: Pre-Register with THA:

1. Go to THA Vendor Registration Form

2. Enter your name, business name, email address and answer the provided questions

3. Submit the form.

Part Three: VendorCafe Registration:

1. THA receives your pre-registration request and sends you an email invitation to Vendor Café;

2. Complete your full vendor registration;

3. Upload required compliance documents ensuring that the business' W-9, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Sunbiz Certificate of Status, and any applicable licenses are uploaded and up to date;

4. Once completed and approved, you will receive a confirmation from VendorCafe. Retain this confirmation for your records.
