Tampa Housing Authority Hosts Second Chance Job Fair

TAMPA, Fla. - August 11, 2023 - The Tampa Housing Authority is proud to host the Second Chance Job fair, on Wednesday, August 23. The goal is to help Tampa Housing Authority residents and other job seekers with less than stellar background checks find employment. The event brings together community partners: Career Source, Feeding Tampa Bay, Florida Department of Corrections, and background-friendly employers. Workers who may find difficult to find employment for having a past brush with the law are encouraged to attend.

WHAT: Second Chance Job Fair

TICKETS: Free admission, open to the public.

ACTIVITIES/VISUALS: Job seekers, partners' tables and displays, groceries to be distributed, hourly raffles.
