St. James Church is in between the Tempo and the Trio within the 28-acre Encore District development in downtown Tampa. St. James Church is a 100-year-old church that was fully restored per the City of Tampa Historic Preservation ARC requirements. It will be re-purposed into Tampa's finest African-American Cultural Museum. St. James Church was completed in April 2020.
